Paediatric First Aid Course in August

Due to an increased number of enquiries for Paediatric First Aid Training recently we’ve just added an extra two day early years course on August 13-14 to run at our training facility in the Shildon Business Centre, County Durham.

The course is aimed specifically at childminders and other people working with children and has been tailored to meet the course program laid down by the National Child Minding Association, OFSTED and SureStart.

A busy week at Help First Aid Training

Over the last week Help First Aid Training has trained over 30 delegates in the following training courses, First Aid at Work, Basic Life Support and Emergency First Aid at Work. The Students travelled from across the North East, County Durham, Darlington and Stockton to attend. Each of the courses went extremely well and all students pasted with flying colours.

After only 18 months since launching, Help First Aid Training has trained an impressive 1000 students. The course deliveries have varied between our open courses and in-house training, a wide variety of training has been delivered including First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid. During this time we have travelled all over County Durham, Teeside and the North East of England. Part of our success comes from our valued partnership with local firms and businesses.

Our second First Aid at Work open course took place at the Shildon Business Centre on the 16th, 17th & 18th May 2011. Over the three days we trained people from across County Durham and Teeside it went really well and all of the students passed with flying colours.

Help First Aid Training ran a First Aid at Work open course on the 9th, 10th & 11th May 2011. The course was a great success and we trained people from across the North East including Newcastle, Darlington and Newton Aycliffe. The course went really well and we received some excellent feedback from the students.

Heel & Toe pull in Help! First Aid Training for Early Years First Aid Course, 15th September.

Early Years (child) First Aid took place at Heel & Toe Residence on 15th September 2010 for the duration of 2 days. Students from Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland and County Durham all thoroughly enjoyed the Paediatric Course and came back to us with some excellent feedback.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work Course took place at Shildon’s Locomotion Museum this week, where companies from Shildon, Peterlee and Spennymoor shipped out their staff to be trained.

The course ran successfully with excellent feedback from the students.
